What happens to my photos?
They are only used to generate your portraits, then deleted from our servers. Never sold, never used to train anything, never reused for other customers.
How long does a generation take?
About a minute and a half in standard quality, a little over two minutes in high-definition 4K: the time it takes the AI to generate the versions in parallel. You then pick yours.
How is likeness guaranteed?
Every version is generated from an exhaustive brief of each face (shape, eyes, nose, mouth, hair, beard, glasses, apparent age…) with perfect likeness as the instruction. You compare the versions side by side and keep the most faithful one; the others are deleted.
How much does it cost?
Credits without a subscription: 10 credits for €4.99, 50 for €19.99, 150 for €49.99. A standard creation costs 1 credit, high-definition 4K costs 5. Your first creation is free.
On which devices?
Vignette is an iPhone app (App Store). Creations save to your photo library and can be shared freely.
Can I print my portraits?
Yes: high-quality creations can be ordered as fine-art prints from the app, from €20 (10×15 cm) to €55 (40×60 cm), EU delivery included.
Can I have a painted portrait instead of a photo?
Yes: “Old Master” (one person), “Old Master duo” (two) and “Your Majesty” (your pet) are painted in oils in the Old Master style, in colour or in grisaille, at the same price as the other creations.
What if I don't like the result?
If a generation fails technically, credits are refunded automatically. And the free first creation lets you judge the quality before buying anything.
Who owns the generated portraits?
You do. Use them freely: wallpaper, social media, résumé, print.
