Their exact coat, not a generic one
A pet is recognized by its coat: the patch over the eye, the white bib, the socks, the chest pattern. The app reads these markings one by one from your photo (muzzle, ears, eye color, coat patterns) and imposes them on the generation, with instructions made for animals, not recycled human ones.
Solo as a main portrait, as a duo with another pet, forehead to forehead with you, or as a repeating wallpaper motif: four compositions are dedicated to them, plus their spot in the family portrait.
