Painted portrait
Your portrait, painted in oils.
Three creations in the manner of the 17th-century Dutch masters: “Old Master” for one person, “Old Master duo” for two, “Your Majesty” for your dog or cat. From a single photo, a chiaroscuro painting with linen collar and dark mantle, where you can see the brushstrokes.

A canvas, not a retouched photo
Every portrait is repainted in oils: visible brushstrokes, thick paint in the lights, canvas weave in the shadows. The face is not a photo laid over a texture: it is painted with the same brush as the collar, the mantle and the background, like a studio painting.
Likeness lives in the drawing: proportions, features, markings and expression are taken from your photo; only the surface changes. In colour, a palette of ochres and earths; in black and white, a monochrome oil grisaille.
Your Majesty: your pet as a court portrait
Dog or cat, your companion poses like a 17th-century dignitary, white linen collar and cloth mantle. Coat, markings and gaze are respected, and the expression stays the one in the photo: an open mouth stays open. In black and white, the eyes keep their colour, as in every Vignette pet portrait.
Made for the wall

Frequently asked questions
Does the painting really look like me?
Yes: the drawing of your face is taken from your photo, proportions, features, marks and expression included. Only the surface changes, paint instead of photo. You compare the versions and keep the most faithful one.
Colour or black and white?
Both, chosen at creation. In colour, an Old Master palette of ochres and earths; in black and white, an oil grisaille. For a pet, the eyes keep their colour in the black-and-white version.
How much does it cost?
The same as the other portraits: 1 credit in standard quality, 5 in high-definition 4K, print-ready. Your first creation is free.
Which photo should I provide?
A sharp, frontal photo where the face or the animal's head is clearly visible. No neutral background or pose needed: the painting invents the setting.
